The Wombai Delta Manual High Back Chair integrates traditional knowledge with contemporary design

The Wombai Office Chair Series, inspired by the resilience and cultural significance of the Black Myrtle Tree, integrates traditional knowledge with contemporary ergonomic design.

Known to Australian Indigenous Aboriginal communities for its therapeutic uses and robust nature, the Black Myrtle's bark and leaves were utilized in traditional remedies for skin and respiratory conditions.

Its sturdy wood crafted tools and weapons, symbolizing strength and reliability—qualities mirrored in their office chairs.

YINDI Basalt Black Fabric design was created by Jedess Hudson, inspired by the basaltic rocks which are native to the landscape on her traditional homelands of Ewamian and Western Yalanji country in Far North Queensland as well as many areas across Australia’s landscape.
